Introduction: Theory, Anatomy of Fascia and Related Structures, Whole Body Inter-Relationships and Development of Palpation Skills.

Cranial/Sacral Therapy: Theory, Evaluation Procedures, Cranial/Sacral Techniques, Sinus Problems, Headache Release, Temporomandibular Problems, Cranial Trauma and Birth Injuries.

Myofascial Release Techniques: Evaluation Procedures, Lower Extremity Problems, Sacral Float, Lumbar-Pelvic Problems, Anterior and Posterior Thoracic Areas, Transverse Fascial Planes (Thoracic Inlet, Diaphragm & Pelvic), Upper Extremity Problems Cervical Spine, Atlas and Axis, Occipital Condyle Release, Dural Tube Mobility.

As a result of this course, the participant will be able to:

• Describe basic theory, anatomy and physiology of the fascial system

• Identify the inter-relationships of the whole body

• Analyze exercises designed to improve palpation skills

• Evaluate postural malalignments related to fascial restrictions

• Identify fascial restrictions

• Differentiate soft tissue mobilization techniques to myofascial release techniques

• Learn and perform myofascial release techniques for the lumbosacral areas, thorax, cervical and upper and lower extremities

• Perform cranial sacral techniques to the cranium

• Analyze a demonstration treatment session utilizing the myofascial release techniques

• Apply techniques to the entire body to produce positive structural changes
