Bart McDonald
Bart McDonald, PT, MPT, ECS, FMSK, is the founder of Superior Physical Therapy. Bart graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in 2000. He opened his first outpatient clinic in 2004, and since then, Superior Physical Therapy has grown to eight clinics across Southeastern Idaho. After earning his ABPTS certification in Clinical Electrophysiologic Testing (ECS) in 2020 and completing a Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in 2021,
Bart created Diagnostic Solutions, a group that performs electrodiagnostic (EMG) and musculoskeletal ultrasound testing. Diagnostic Solutions performs diagnostic tests for physical therapy clinics and physicians in the area and has expanded to provide testing in orthopedic surgeons’ and podiatrists’ offices. In January of 2025, Bart partnered with Mountain Land Physical Therapy and is the Director of Clinical Diagnostic Services for Mountain Land Partners in Utah, Idaho, and Montana. He is passionate about building the PT profession into musculoskeletal primary care providers, accurately identifying the true diagnosis for each patient, and changing lives.
